Skin cancer kills over 9,000 people a year in the United States alone.  If your on Medicare, get your skin checked by a Dermatologist.

According to an article from the American Cancer Society in January 2018 the overall risk of getting melanoma in your lifetime is about 2.6% for whites, 0.1% for blacks and 0.58% for Hispanics.   Survival rate if detected early is about 99 percent in the United States so get checked out by a dermatologist.
