When a person needs to have cataract surgery and they have a Medicare advantage plan will it cover the full surgery?

Re: Cataract surgery and Medicare advantage plans

This depends on the Medicare advantage plan itself.  Most Medicare advantage plans have an out of pocket expense that is charged with a surgery or hospital visit.  They also have a charge for outpatient centers that perform procedures.  The best thing to do is to contact your agent who sold you the plan and discuss it with them.  The plans from companies are different.  For instance the Keystone 65 plan might have an out of pocket deductible of $250 and the Aetna plan has a $200.  It is all different.
